The perfect combo!
Our Hemp Brothers Hemp Seeds are 100% Australian-grown hemp seeds and are the fruit or nut from mature hemp plants. We remove the outer hulls from the hemp seeds to reveal a soft, creamy kernel with a delectable nutty flavour.
Hemp seeds are a great source of:
- Dietary fibre (both soluble and insoluble)
- Protein (complete 20 amino acids, including the nine essential)
- Essential fatty acids (including omega-3 and omega-6)
- Vitamin E
- Zinc (immune booster)
- Boron (great testosterone booster)
- Magnesium (the ‘relaxation mineral’)
- B Vitamins
Hemp Brothers hemp seeds can be eaten right out of the bag for a healthy snack on the go or added to meals and snacks for a convenient nutritional boost. Add our hemp seeds to things like cereals, salads, smoothies, dressings, granola, yogurt, ice cream, porridge, or avocado toast for a delicious and nutritious treat that’s easy to make.
Hemp seeds are best kept refrigerated once opened and eaten within three months of opening the bag.
Hemp Seed Oil
Hemp Brothers Hemp Seed Oil is made from 100% Australian cold-pressed hemp seeds. Hemp Brothers premium hemp seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and has the expert-recommended 1:3 ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 that’s ideal for human health. Other healthful fatty acids found in hemp seed oil include oleic acid, gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), and stearidonic acid.
What’s more, hemp seed oil is an excellent source of the following nutrients:
- Vitamin E
- Carotene (vitamin A precursor)
Hemp Brothers hemp seed oil goes well on salads, in dressings, or added to smoothies, and has a delightful nutty flavour. However, we don’t recommend hemp seed oil for cooking due to its low smoke point of 150°C (300°F).
Hemp seed oil is best kept refrigerated. For long-term (6 months+) storage, you can freeze our hemp seed oil. One of the many wonders of hemp seed oil is that it remains a liquid even at freezing temperatures.
